Miranda. Loan granted to 6 new project leaders in Astarac

On Tuesday, November 5, the community of communes Cœur d’Astarac in Gascony celebrated the launch of 6 new projects with the support of an interest-free loan provided by the association Réseau Initiative Gers. This loan, designed to help create or take over businesses, represents significant financial support for local entrepreneurs. Thanks to the participation of the Cœur d’Astarac town community, the association Réseau Initiative Gers allows local businesses to access the necessary finance for their development. This interest-free loan is awarded to selected applicants who appear before a jury to present their project. As Franck Povost, head of the Gers Enterprise Network, says, “it is the personal commitment of project leaders that is valued because we lend to the person, not to the company. ” The amounts awarded (between €3,000 and €30,000) also act as a tool to encourage partner banks to support beneficiaries.

The Gers Enterprise Network model is based on a solidarity lending system where every euro borrowed comes from a previous beneficiary, creating a dynamic of solidarity and success.

Economic dynamics

Since the beginning of the year, 9 entrepreneurs have benefited from this support. Among them, 6 new ones: Ferdinand and Gaëlle Du Cassé, new owners of the Auberge de la Halle; Cyril Saint-Jean and Delphine Souleyreau, who took over the Le Fournil des Saveurs bakery; and Lilian Kaminski and Roland Delesenne, for their company Astarac Piscine.

The loan was delivered at the Auberge de la Halle, welcoming elected officials, partners and beneficiaries. Patrick Fanton, president of the community of associations, emphasized the importance of supporting entrepreneurs to combat demographic decline in rural areas. According to him, these local initiatives strengthen the economic vitality of the area. In addition, the new business center being built in Mirande will host, among other things, once completed, the CMA Formation Mirande with CAP and MP training in beauty , cosmetics and fragrances.
