Mirai was again inspired by Japan on the album

On this musically and lyrically diverse album, she was inspired by Japanese culture this time as well. In addition to its name, the cover of the album also testifies to this. The frontman of the band Mirai Navrátil, whose roots go back to his mother, is to blame for the connection with Japan. After all, the idea for the name came from her.

“According to Japanese legend, a long-time wealthy pilgrim traveled through Japan and Maneki Neko saved his life in a storm. And because most of the board was created during the lockdown, we were looking for a symbol that will be a light at the end of the tunnel and a starting point, ”explains Navrátil.

“Maneki Neko is a symbol of happiness and wealth. In fact, everyone knows the cat from Czech Asian bistros and conveniences. But few people know his name. And one more thing: Maneki Neko doesn’t, he invites, “he adds with a smile.

The novelty of the author is mainly the work of Navrátil and Ondřej Fiedler, who produced the album. Pokáč, Jan Vávra or David Stypka, who wrote the lyrics for Akorát before his January death, took part in the lyrics with them.
