The two teenagers Marinette Dupain-Cheng (speaker: Lydia Morgenstern; vocals: Sarah Engels) and Adrien Agreste (speaker: Maximilian Artajo; singer: Mike Singer) live in modern-day Paris. While other peers already have their hands full with homework, Marinette and Adrien become respective superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir. You have been chosen by the keeper of the Miraculous to guard the magical jewels. The ladybug earrings and the cat ring are the most powerful of the magic jewels. But once equipped with wondrous superpowers, the hunt for evil forces like the nasty Hawk Moth needs to be practiced. Every beginning is difficult and so Ladybug and Cat Noir often help each other out of trouble, but do not know the true identity of each other. Maybe that’s for the best, since Marinette has a crush on Adrien, while Cat Noir has a crush on Ladybug.
