Minsa reported 297 infections and 11 deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health (minsa) reported this Saturday that, to date, there are 212,102 deaths nationwide and 3,544,862 cases accumulated again coronavirus.

According to the latest portfolio report, this is an increase of 11 deaths in the last 24 hours. Regarding the positive cases, there was an increase in 821: 297 were confirmed cases from March 25 and 524 are results from the previous seven days.

The ministry indicated that there are currently 1,385 patients hospitalized for the COVID-19of which 495 are in ICU with mechanical ventilation.

COVID-19 TESTS

Of the total confirmed cases, 3,577,024 people completed their period of home isolation or were discharged from a health facility.

The Minsa also indicated that samples have been processed so far for 28,511,805 people to detect the virus. coronavirusobtaining 24,966,943 negative results.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19the Government recommends physical distancing of at least one meter away from another person, wearing a mask, washing hands frequently and using face shields on public transport.
