The Ministry of Health (Minsa) opened an investigation after a video circulated on social networks in which a nurse is observed applying the vaccine against Covid-19 to an older adult, but did not depress the plunger to introduce the drug into the patient.
The event would have occurred in the Omar Park, where there is an express vaccination center that people with disabilities go to, by appointment.

In the video, the patient is observed in the passenger seat of a vehicle, where he is injected by a nurse, who makes some observations about the process and possible discomforts or effects of the vaccine.
In the Minsa they informed The Press that the minister Luis Francisco Sucre asked to investigate the incident.
At dawn on Wednesday, March 10, the Deputy Minister of Health, Ivette Berrío published on her Twitter account that it was all due to an error by the nurse.
“The nurse made a mistake; If you observe, he is explaining details to the man, he tries to get all the information, that could have distracted him; this without counting from what time he has been carrying out this work and how many citizens he had already attended! To err is of humans!!
He assured that the man who did not receive the vaccine was located and will be immunized against Covid-19.
