Minsa enables new vaccination points for influenza vaccine in Panama Oeste

Influenza vaccines will be given in Nuevo Chorrillo, Puerto Caimito, Burunga, Peñas Blancas and other places

A vaccination day against the influence will be taking place this weekend in West Panama, confirmed the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

This Saturday, the staff of the Nuevo Chorrillo and Puerto Caimito Health Centers will travel to the communal house of La Constancia, in Nuevo Chorrillo, the El Higo field, in San Carlos, the central park of the Quintas del Pacífico urbanization , in Puerto Caimito, the Coronado Mall shopping center, in Coronado and the Verta Elida Fernández School, in Chame. All places will be attending from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

On Sunday, the Clínica del Sol, in Burunga, the Cuadro de Peñas Blancas, the Feullet park and Papas Raza in Market Plaza, in La Chorrera, will be taking place in the community of Las 3 María, in Nuevo Chorrillo. Hours of operation will be from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

It will also be attended at the Natividad de María Church in Lídice de Capira, the Santa Clara school in Nuevo Emperador, Arraiján district and super 99 of Brisas del Golf, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

The Minsa recommends that all people, from six months of age, get vaccinated annually against influenza.

The latest influenza report from the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI) of the West Panama Health region, 84,553 doses of the vaccine have been administered, of which 47,032 by Minsa and 37,520 by the Social Security Fund.
