This measure was taken by the ministry after the suggestion of the Expert Committee on Immunizations, who suggested applying 0.25 ml. per dose. The committee indicated that this dose “is similar to that adopted by health entities in other countries such as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States.”

“It is important to note that Peru is carrying out one of the largest vaccination processes against COVID-19 in South America, ranking third in the region in terms of the percentage of the population protected against the coronavirus,” they reported from the Minsa.

Likewise, they continued with the call to the population to come to be inoculated and complete the vaccination schemes. It is worth mentioning that there are different vaccination points in the city, where they can attend as pedestrians, in cars, or bicycles.

The Sometimes established a platform to identify vaccination points and help citizens find one close to where they are. Also, through the page “I put my shoulder”you can find out when and where to get vaccinated.

“Know the 40 vaccination points against COVID-19, from April 23 to 27, for adults over 80 years of age in Lima and Callao,” the Ministry said on Twitter.

To access the vaccine, you must be within the dose application range, programmed by the Minsa, and go to the vaccination center. In addition, it is necessary to carry the DNI for proper identification. After inoculation, the entity that vaccinates them must give them their physical vaccination card, stipulating the date, pharmaceutical and number of applied dose.
