Yesterday, Detectives from the Chillán Criminal Investigation Brigade (Bicrim) arrested a 15-year-old teenager, who had committed the crime of robbery with intimidation, to steal a high-end mobile phone that was later put up for sale via Marketplace.
The head(s) of Bicrim, sub-prefect Cristian Pérez Sovino, pointed out that “the accused belonged to a criminal gang dedicated to the perpetration of robbery crimes, who used firearms to threaten their victims.”
In this way, Pérez specified that “the victim was sharing in an area on the banks of the Chillán River during the summer season, a time when she would have been approached by these subjects, including the teenager, who stole her Apple iPhone model cell phone. 14, being put up for sale on the social network Facebook, which makes it possible to identify the accused, find his whereabouts, recover the species and also seize a fantasy weapon, type pistol, that he kept at his home.”
The 15-year-old minor, with no police record, was placed at the disposal of the competent Court.
