Miño leaves the high level of restrictions in which Arteixo stays Radio Coruña

The Council of Miño leaves the high level of restrictions. Arteixo for his part remains perimetrated and with the highest control measures of the pandemic. These are some of the last decisions Sergas has made this morning.

The clinical subcommittee of Galicia met this Friday in A Coruña, a city that is particularly concerned about its epidemiological situation, and has updated the list of municipalities under maximum and high restrictions.

In the particular case of the Herculine city, despite the fact that the data are not as favorable as in the rest of the Galician health areas, remains at medium level of restrictions. The neighboring municipality of Arteixo also remains at the same level of restrictions, which will remain at a high level.

The general director of Public Health, Carmen Durán, explained that this council from A Coruña has not dropped in level because “its evolution is not good”, since it continues to accumulate cases in a health area, that of A Coruña, which continues to have the worst evolution in Galicia.

The health area of A Coruña continues to be the one with the highest incidence figure, 151.79, while, on the contrary, Lugo has the lowest. In any case, no health area is above 250 cases in 14 days and 100 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants in 7 days.

Situation in Galicia

A total of eight municipalities regain mobility as of Monday with the rest of Galicia, except for the four municipalities that will have a high level of restrictions (they can only move between them) and the other five that have maximum restrictions, which implies perimeter closure, hotels closed and prohibition of meetings with non-partners.

Specifically, starting next Monday, the municipalities of A Pobra do Brollón, Lourenzá, Cariño, Miño, Mugardos, Guitiriz, Vilanova de Arousa and Ponte Caldelas will pass from the middle level -which is currently the general level for Galicia, which this weekend they are still with the restrictions of the high level (they can only move between them and hospitality only on terraces).

Meanwhile, on Monday, five municipalities will remain closed on the perimeter and with maximum restrictions: A Mezquita, Boborás and Vilardevós (in the province of Ourense); Pontecesures (province of Pontevedra, health area of Santiago); and Paradela (province of Lugo).

At the high level, starting next Monday, four town halls will follow (they can only move between them). They are as follows: Sobrado and Arteixo, province of A Coruña; Soutomaior, province of Pontevedra; and Chantada, province of Lugo.

These changes will be published in the next few hours in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) and will come into effect at 00.00 hours next Monday. Next Tuesday the clinical committee that advises the Xunta will meet again.
