The NHL hockey club Minnesota Wild bought out a contract from Zach Parise and Ryan Suter. Both players had contracts for another four years.
Thirty-six-year-old Paris and his peer Suter signed 13-year contracts in July 2012 totaling $ 98 million. However, from July 28, they will become free agents, which will save the club $ 10 million in salary cap next season. In the year 2023/2024 and 2024/2025, however, almost up to 15 million.

Paris is a native of Minnesota and for the club he played 558 matches in the basic part, he collected 400 points (199 + 201). He added 44 starts in the playoffs and with 37 points (16 + 21) he is the leader of the organization’s historical scoring.
Suter started 656 duels in the basic part with a balance of 55 goals and 314 assists. He has 17 points (2 + 15) in 42 matches in the knockout.
