The Ministry of Justice and Security warns about a list of fake corona measures circulating on social media. The ‘new decisions’ around the corona measures that are on the list are incorrect, according to the Ministry.
The list states, among other things, that in addition to the store closure, contact professions must also temporarily stop and that there will be a national sales ban on alcohol from 6 p.m. In addition, a group should only consist of a maximum of two people, both outside and at home. Furthermore, there will be a curfew from 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
It is probably this list:
The main points from the ACC and measures 14-12-2020:
* The highest number of infections since November 1, these figures are expected to increase due to the Christmas rush.
* Nationwide, additional measures will be taken, a partial lockdown is not sufficient to lower the R-Value.
* The national standard for groups will be max 2 (also at home).
* Nationwide: all non-essential stores will be closed, including contact professions.
* Nationwide: alcohol sales are prohibited after 6:00 pm.
* Nationwide: during New Year’s Eve there will be a curfew from 8:00 pm December 31 to 6:00 am January 1.
* Nationwide: working from home remains the norm. Employers must strictly enforce this. They are held accountable for violations. Closure of a site up to 14 days can be the result of a violation.
* Nationwide: access to the supermarket remains only with a trolley, with a door policy. Cart must be disinfected.
* Tomorrow an evaluation report on masks will be submitted to the OMT for advice.
* Today MinJenV and the Presidents of the Safety Regions are still discussing the details of the above measures. Something may change in detail.
* The measures will be announced in a press conference tomorrow Monday, December 14. The measures will take effect on Tuesday 15 December at 6 p.m.
‘Refined’
The Ministry emphasizes that no measures have yet been taken. According to a spokesperson, these types of fake messages are “quite sophisticated”. “It is a mix of measures that previously circulated in the media, but also rules that have been invented.” According to the spokesperson, this often concerns the somewhat heavier measures. “Justice is alert to these messages, which are often distributed very quickly via Whatsapp.”
A part of the cabinet had a meeting in the Catshuis on Sunday about new measures. A crisis meeting will take place on Monday and “there is a good chance that an extra press conference will be held,” say sources from The Hague. Heart of the Netherlands.
