Ministry: ‘Reports about new corona measures are incorrect’

Rumors are again being spread via social media about new corona measures that would be taken. For example, there is talk of setting a curfew in Amsterdam. But according to the Ministry of Justice and Security, these reports are incorrect.

The message that is being distributed states that strict measures must be taken again due to the increasing number of infections.

Sports competitions at the amateur level would therefore be banned from Friday, October 9. There is also reportedly a curfew in the major cities, including Amsterdam. People are therefore no longer allowed to take to the streets between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Fake news

The rules should be explained at a press conference on October 8. On the other hand, according to the ministry, this is fake news: “This is incorrect information.”
