Mohamed El-Shazly, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, said that the ministry supports all Egyptian clubs, especially the popular clubs, through administrative headquarters and facilities.
El-Shazly added, during a telephone conversation with the journalist, Ihab El-Koumi, on the “Match” program on the “Sada El-Balad” channel, that the Ministry of Sports intervened in supporting the Ismaili in an administrative building for the first time, in addition to developing Alexandria Stadium and rebuilding the stadium of the Egyptian club.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Sports is seeking to put some provisions in the Sports Law to facilitate the marketing and investment process, especially for mass clubs, explaining that it is not possible to discuss the purchase of players by the Ministry of Sports or the state, although the Ministry can provide support in correcting the course.
He explained that the Egyptian league now brings together corporate clubs and investment clubs, in addition to popular clubs that find a problem with the high prices of players, explaining that the Minister of Sports is always looking for solutions to help clubs.
He concluded his remarks, by talking about the Zamalek crises, saying: “The situation regarding the administration inside Zamalek has a problem and shortcomings, and the next period will be specific to opening the door for candidacy for elections, and on October 31, the Zamalek crises will completely end with the selection of a new council.”
