WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, MENTENG – State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) together with PT BNI and PT Antam held an UMKM Bazaar in Sarinah, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Thursday (27/7/2023).

Expert Staff for Finance and MSME Development at the Ministry of BUMN, Loto Srinaita Ginting explained, the turnover of money in bazaar activities like this for 3 days reached IDR 250 million.

However, for MSME Expo activities some time ago, transactions could reach IDR 18 billion because MSME employees were involved.

“So because it includes shopping transactions,” he said at the location.

This activity will last until Sunday (30/7/2023) from 08.00 WIB to 21.00 WIB.

According to him, SOEs are also developing the product quality of the MSMEs they have fostered so far.

For example, in terms of packaging and legality, MSME players assisted by BUMN and several other developments.

“So there is coaching at BUMN houses, both offline and online,” he said.

Since 2017, BUMN has opened MSME coaching because these small business actors need assistance from the government.

Thus, the community’s economy can continue to grow and develop and provide encouragement in carrying out its business.

“We carry out a children’s kebaya bazaar, so we also raised children’s toys from the opening side, so we don’t have gadgets all the time,” he explained.

Meanwhile, BNI’s CSR Head Department, Kliko TB Mulyono continued, MSME Bazaar activities like this must be held continuously.

BNI also strongly supports the proud movement to use Indonesian products made by MSMEs.

“This activity cannot stop, but must continue to be lifted,” he explained.

In the same place, PT Antam’s Head of IR and CSR, Agustinus Toko Susetio added, his party brought 45 of its fostered MSMEs to take part in the bazaar at Sarinah.

As a mining company, PT Antam is called upon to help the government to boost the economy in Indonesia.

“MSMEs are part of us to increase the independence of community businesses,” he added.
