The Ministry of Public Health redoubles efforts regarding immunizations and completing calendars during this month due to the increase in Covid-19 cases that the world is having, despite the fact that in Tucumán it is not yet significant.
“In the world, and of course in Argentina, there is an increase in cases. In our province it is still very mild but we still have to continue vaccinating. That is why this Saturday we will be at 107 providing this service from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We recommend that anyone who has had a vaccine that is more than six months old should get a booster dose. We have available until the sixth”, commented the head of the health portfolio, doctor Luis Medina Ruiz.
On the occasion, the official emphasized that reinforcement is very important to generate antibodies and protect against serious illness. “In addition, people can take the opportunity to get the flu, which is available to the entire population, or any other calendar vaccine they need,” he concluded.
