Ministry of National Education Holds Workshop on Drafting Organizational Texts

Dosso, August 20 (ANP) – Since Saturday August 19, Dosso has been hosting a workshop for drafting texts on the organization of the Ministry of National Education, Literacy, Vocational Education and the Promotion of National Languages. The opening ceremony was placed under the chairmanship of the Minister of National Education, Literacy, Vocational Education and the Promotion of National Languages ​​Dr Elisabeth Shérif in the presence of the Governor of the Dosso region on Brigadier General Iro Oumarou, administrative authorities and several central and regional executives of the education system.

It will be a question for the executives of this ministry to elaborate during five days that will last the work of this workshop, the draft decree on the organization of the ministry, to design the project on the organizational chart of this ministry and to determine the attributions of their managers and to write the presentation report of the draft decree on the organization of the Ministry of National Education, Literacy, Vocational Education and the Promotion of National Languages.

In the speech she delivered at the opening of the work, the Minister of National Education, Literacy, Vocational Education and the Promotion of National Languages ​​Dr Elisabeth Shérif paid a vibrant tribute to the initiators of this workshop as well as to the participants for their sense of responsibility and their determination to make their contributions for the proper functioning and efficiency of the Nigerien education system in general and of the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Education and the promotion of national languages ​​in particular.

The current Ministry of National Education, Vocational Education and the Promotion of National Languages ​​indicated Dr Elisabeth Shérif was born from the merger of the Ministry of National Education and that of Technical Education and Training. professional. This merger, she said, desired by the President of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Fatherland, General Abdourahamane Tiani and the Prime Minister, Mr. Lamine Zeine Ali Mahamane, essentially aims to pool resources but above all to build a efficient educational system, capable of fully assuming its social role and in particular the promotion of equal opportunities and the production of citizens wishing to contribute to the development of the country, its influence on the international scene and the enhancement of its cultural values.

The work of this workshop, notified the Minister of National Education, is of crucial importance for the country in the sense that it will ensure better management of flows between types of education and levels of education. coherently with the different joints. It is therefore necessary, even essential, said in essence Dr. Elizabeth Sheriff, to focus on a fluid mechanism to achieve effective and efficient operation. For this purpose, the organization chart must be consistent without any possible ambiguity between the structures.

Previously in his welcome speech, the 2nd vice mayor of the urban commune of Dosso Mr. Soumana Tahirou indicated that this new vision of the ministry will allow to have a quality education.

On the sidelines of her stay in Dosso, the Minister of National Education, Literacy, Vocational Education, and the Promotion of National Languages ​​Dr Elisabeth Shérif visited the Regional Directorate of Vocational Training and the Regional Directorate of national education. It was for the Minister to inquire about the working conditions of the agents, to inquire about the difficulties in order to find adequate solutions.

At the end of all these visits, Dr Elisabeth Shérif noted with satisfaction a mobilization of the authorities and school officials which enabled her to make contact with her collaborators at the regional level but also to know their concerns and to pass the message from the new authorities of the country, a message that emphasizes the need to put all civil servants back to work, including teachers.
