Due to irregularities related to the salaries of players in the First, Second and Third Division of Salvadoran Soccer, the Ministry of Labor personnel will begin a visit to all clubs to verify contracts and that there are no irregularities.
The minister, Rolando Castro, announced that this work will be carried out next week at the national level and that the results will be announced in a short time.
Castro said that the work they are going to do on all the teams has nothing to do with their control and their relationship with FIFA, which “means that we are going to guarantee due process and we are not following an investigation. where they and the country are affected by FIFA sanctions,” he stressed.
«The work we are going to do is at the request of some national soccer players who are affected because what is stated in their contracts is not fulfilled. The most recurrent complaints are delays or non-payment of salaries,” the official explained.
Finally, he called on all team leaders to have the documentation at hand and not interfere with the work they are going to do.
