Ministry of Internal Affairs assessed whether Lukashenka will go on the offensive against Ukraine – tsn.ua

Belarus is conducting military exercises near the border with Ukraine, but self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko will not go on the offensive.

The situation around Belarus remains super-tense, but controlled by Ukrainian forces.

Advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Viktor Andrusiv told “Channel 24” June 14.

According to him, the order for Lukashenka from Russian President Vladimir Putin is to tie down Ukrainian troops.

“Therefore, Lukashenka will play various exercises, intimidation, some kind of threats, but he will not move on to actions. He understands that this will turn into a military disaster for him.“, – said the adviser to the minister.

Remember June 14th large-scale exercises started in Belarus in connection with the “fulfillment of tasks as intended in the current conditions of the current situation.”

Besides, in Belarus, near the border with Ukraine, another movement of equipment was noticed.
