“Vaccines will be available in health centers for those who have not been vaccinated,” said Ruales.
With this initiative, the Ministry of Health aims to reduce possible new cases of these three diseases.

However, he pointed out that if the protection coverages are reduced, new cases may appear.
Ruales recalled that between 20213 and 2020 there was a drop in the number of children who were vaccinated, reaching only 56% of those who had required the doses.
With the aim of preventing this problem from repeating itself, Ruales assured that the Government has the necessary supply to cover the demand for vaccines until mid-2026.
These doses include 17 vaccines of the basic scheme for children and two for adults.
