Ministry of Health Transfers HIV/AIDS Patient for Urgent Treatment

In an urgent response to what was published by the Cairo 24 website, the Ministry of Health directed today, Monday, to transfer a young man infected with HIV – AIDS – in Gharbia Governorate, to the Alexandria Fever Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.

And earlier, Cairo Lens 24, in a live broadcast with the family of the young man, Muhammad Mahmoud al-Abed, who suffers from AIDS in the village of Dalgmon in the Kafr al-Zayat Center district, reported the young man’s family’s demands to transfer him to a specialized hospital to receive the necessary treatment and provide primary health care and speedy treatment, after the deterioration of his health condition as a result of the hospitals’ refusal to receive him and provide him with the necessary treatment.

In this context, the Ministry of Health issued a decision to transfer the young man, Muhammad Mahmoud Mahmoud al-Abed, from the village of Dalgmoon in the district of Kafr al-Zayat Center in Gharbia Governorate, who has AIDS, and to transfer him to the Fever Hospital to receive treatment and provide health care.

Today, the Ministry of Health sent a medical team and an equipped ambulance to transport the AIDS patient from his hometown in the village of Dalgmoon in the district of Kafr El-Zayat Center to Alexandria Fever Hospital.
