Ugly scoppola for the president of an Order of Health Professions of the Center-North. The Ministry of Health declares valid the lists that cannot nominate Pediatric Nurses.
The Directorate General for Health Professions and Human Resources of the National Health Service – Office 5 – Health Professions Regulations, or the Ministry of Health through the general manager Rossana Ugenti, rejects the amendment of a Order of Nursing Professions of central-northern Italy which excluded the lists that could not present the candidacy in all three categorical areas subjected to electoral renewal: Board of Directors, Register of Nurses and Register of Pediatric Nurses.
AssoCareNews.it spoke on the subject a few days ago raising the issue at the national level. Such an amendment, which is not supported by the National Federation of Nursing Professions Orders (FNOPI) nor, now, by the Ministry of Health, would he have endangered the internal democracy of the profession and opened the doors to localistic decisions aimed at the annihilation of the opposing forces within a OPI.
The amendment, let’s face it, went not only against the Electoral Regulations for the renewal of the Orders of Nursing Professions, but also against the Code of Ethics itself, which establishes specific ethical and moral norms to which all Nurses, including the presidents of OPI, must comply.
Now, as we said, the definitive clarification of the Ugenti, certainly one of the most competent executives of the Ministry of Health, who re-establishes the rules of engagement and who slaps this president who has no idea what it means to live in a democratic Italy.
In the document sent by Ugenti to FNOPI and to the OPI concerned, it is clearly clarified that:
