Ministry of Health reported 7,510 covid-19 infections and 163 deaths in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health reported in its daily report that in the last 24 hours, 7,510 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the country, for a total of 1,384,610 confirmed cases of the virus throughout the territory.

This result occurred after processing 39,711 tests, of which 20,409 were for the PCR test and 19,302 for the antigens.

In this report it was also known that there were a total of 163 deaths related to the virus, so, to date there are 38,158 deaths. On the other hand, the portfolio announced that the number of recovered amounted to 1,278,326, while the number of active cases reached 64,833.

At the regional level, the Ministry announced that Bogotá ranked first with the number of infections in one day with a total of 2,681 cases, followed by Valle with 1,402, Antioquia 766, Norte de Santander 229, Cundinamarca 224, Santander 218 and Cartagena 200.
