Ministry of Health outlines 8 guidelines to promote healthy Suhoor meals, while advising to steer clear of tea and coffee.

revealed Ministry of Health and Population For a set of guidelines related to healthy Suhoor meals, stressing that foods should be eaten that give a feeling of satiety and fullness for a long time, which are:

Legumes, the most famous of which is fava beans.

Milk and its products such as yogurt and cheese), and eggs.

Potatoes or potatoes, country bread or multi-grain bread and whole grains.

Green salad ingredients such as cucumber, lettuce, and leafy green vegetables rich in water and fiber.

Drink plenty of water and fresh juices.

Avoid drinking tea and coffee to avoid feeling dehydrated and tired during the fasting hours.

Avoid eating fried foods, sweets, pickles, and nuts during the Suhoor meal, as they make you thirsty and dehydrated during the fasting hours.

It is preferable to delay the pre-dawn meal until just before dawn.
