Ministry of Health: Inoculating citizens with the Corona vaccine, after making sure that two doses are available for every citizen

The Ministry of Health revealed the details of the launch of the medical staff vaccination campaign, saying: “The number of medical teams in Egypt is huge, but the campaign begins tomorrow for the medical teams present in the first line of defense..and we will start with a ball from Abu Khalifa Hospital, and we had hoped to start from Al-Nujaila Hospital, being the first hospital. Isolation was established, but due to the distance and lack of time, it was decided to start with the isolation hospital in Abu Khalifa, then the rest of the main hospitals.

The ministry followed up during a telephone interview through the “Final Word” program presented by the journalist Lamees Al-Hadidi on a screen. ،” ON” He said: “We will start with the medical teams in the first line of defense, who are the first groups and then the rest of the segments, respectively, but the beginning will be from the workers in the isolation hospitals, whether Al-Nujaila, Abu Khalifa, May 15, or other major hospitals designated for isolation, in addition to fever and chest.”

She revealed that, as of today, a site for internal recruitment has been opened for the various medical teams working from the first groups to obtain the vaccine, stressing that the registration process will be undertaken by hospital administrations through the site in order to receive the vaccine, stressing that until the moment the door for registration on the site has not been opened for citizens, as Registration will open for them upon completion of the vaccination of medical teams, according to the principle of priority “.

And she continued: “We have doses of other vaccines that will arrive in succession to Egypt, but we will start with the“ Chinese Sinopharm ”vaccine, where 50 thousand doses or a little more are available, which are doses that have already reached the land of Egypt, covering about 25 thousand people for each person two doses at an interval of three weeks.“.

And she continued: “We contracted with doses of about 20 million doses with AstraZeneca, whose first shipment will arrive at the end of this week, in addition to doses of the two vaccines, either from the International Vaccination Federation through its contract to be consecutive, stressing that the vaccines will arrive in batches and we will start the vaccination process in the first groups of care, starting from the medical staff, according to With the availability of vaccine doses and with the arrival of other shipments, the vaccination of the rest of the groups will be completed, whether the medical staff in all its segments, then the elderly and people with chronic diseases, stressing that the vaccination of the elderly and those with chronic diseases depends on the size of the flow and availability, and that this is not only in Egypt but in the world All, saying: This is not in Egypt. Rather, all countries do not have a country whose people have ceased vaccinations. Even that country that manufactures vaccines does not have enough reserves for the rest of the people, but Egypt was guaranteeing the idea of ​​sustainability for all different groups. It will be available according to the supply. “.

The Ministry stressed that the vaccination of citizens will not start until after making sure that two doses of the vaccine are available for each citizen, and this depends on the supply and availability.
