A spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Sunday that Israel killed 177 Palestinian children during the last 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the spokesman as saying that Israel killed 266 Palestinians during the last 24 hours, including 117 children.
She added: “4,651 Palestinians were killed and more than 14,245 were injured in the Israeli strikes on Gaza since October 7.”
She indicated that 40 percent of the dead were children, highlighting that “70 percent of the victims were children, women and the elderly.”
For its part, the Israeli Ministry of Health announced, on Sunday morning, a new death toll since the start of the Hamas attack on October 7.
More than 1,400 people were killed, most of them in the initial attack when Hamas militants stormed Israel.
According to the Jerusalem Post, 5,132 Israelis were injured, 12 of whom were in critical condition.
Also, 287 serious, 775 moderate, and 3,614 mild injuries were recorded.
