Ministry of Health Dispels Misconceptions about Influenza Vaccine, Emphasizes Importance of Vaccination

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the groups most in need of the influenza vaccine include:

1- Children from 6 months to 5 years old

2- The elderly

3- People with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, respiratory system patients, asthma and allergy patients

4- People with weak immunity due to a specific disease or receiving medications that suppress the immune system

5- Workers in the medical field

6- Pregnant women during pregnancy and two weeks after giving birth.
