The Ministry of Health advised citizens to use safe pesticides against insects because they protect humans from infection with infectious diseases.
The ministry also advised, through a post on its official account on the social networking site Facebook, to use pesticides to get rid of mosquitoes that spread a lot during the summer, and is one of the most prominent vectors of diseases.
The Ministry instructed citizens to go and check up on their health for free as part of the 100 Health Days campaign, every day from 9 am to 9 pm, in all governorates of the Republic.
The 100 Health Days initiative is a product and crystallization of the services of the presidential initiatives 100 million health, and seeks to expand the provision of public health initiatives services, and to ensure that services are available with the required quality for all target groups. With an emphasis on the continuity and quality of referral, diagnosis and treatment systems.
The 100 Health Days initiative aims to intensify awareness of the services provided by the Ministry of Health and Population. All concerned parties joined hands to ensure the availability and quality of services for beneficiaries, whether Egyptians, resident foreigners, refugees or asylum seekers residing on Egyptian soil.
