Jakarta –
The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) postponed the state equity participation (PMN) of PT Clairvoyant Karya (Persero) Tbk. The capital injection should be given in 2022.
The PMN delay for Waskita Karya was said by the Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance Rionald Silaban. The delay will be made until waiting for clarification regarding the company’s restructuring plan.
“For Waskita Karya, the PMN plan has been postponed until there is clarity about restructuring. As we know, Waskita Karya is a Tbk company, so we will see the restructuring program,” said Rio at a press conference on the KiTa APBN, Monday (22/5/2023).
Rio once said that the PMN Waskita Karya that was detained was valued at IDR 3 trillion. The injection is supposed to be for the capital provided in 2022.
PMN of IDR 3 trillion for Waskita Karya is planned to be used for the completion of a number of toll roads. There are two toll roads namely Kayu Agung-Palembang-Betung and Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi.
Previously, the Minister for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir revealed Waskita Karya’s restructuring plan through three things, namely restructuring banking or debt securities, restructuring capital improvements through various methods such as PMN or rights issues, and releasing assets back to the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA).
“Despite the legal case that occurred (the Main Director became a suspect in corruption), we continue to encourage Waskita to have a restructuring,” said Erick at the Ministry of BUMN, Jakarta, Wednesday (3/5/2023).
