Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, confirmed that financial allocations amounting to 4.2 billion pounds have been included in the 2023/2024 general budget related to new appointments for about 70,000 new jobs, including 30,000 teachers in the Ministry of Education, according to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to appoint 150,000. New teacher over five years.

This came in response to a question by Representative Mostafa Salem, deputy of the Parliament’s Plan and Budget Committee, about appointments in the state’s administrative apparatus, specifically with regard to the Ministry of Health and commissioning, as well as education and others.

Maait said that the assignment will be applied in accordance with the Medical Professions Law for about 30,000 in the Ministry of Health, whether for doctors, pharmacists and other professions, in addition to 10,000 new jobs in other parts of the country according to their actual needs, such as what happened previously with the appointment of 2,000 tax and 1,000 customs employees.
