Dr. Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, had decided to allocate an amount of 10 million pounds to the Qard Al-Hassan project, noting that the loan is repaid without adding any fees, interest, administrative expenses, etc., as the principal amount disbursed is paid only.
The Ministry of Endowments announced the opening of the door for applications, as follows:
First: Employees of the Ministry of Endowments and its affiliated entities
1 – For those who have spent five years or more in service, the loan amount will be a maximum of 20 thousand pounds, subject to the following conditions:
• This loan should not be combined with any other bank loan.
• He must not have a loan from the endowments that has not been fully repaid.
• The remaining period of his service at the time of publishing this announcement must be more than three years.
• The amount of three hundred pounds is deducted per month over fifty months, and the number of months of deduction depends on the amount spent.
• The loan application may not be renewed unless the previous loan, if any, has been repaid.
• The borrower shall not be released for any reason unless the remainder of the loan has been paid.

2 – Those who have not completed a period of five years from the date of appointment
1. The period of service must not be less than three years in appointment.
2. The loan amount will be six thousand pounds, deducted over forty months at the rate of one hundred and fifty pounds, with the same controls as Clause No. (1).

Second: Employees of the state’s administrative apparatus and the public sector
The loan amount will be disbursed according to the remaining service period, with a maximum of 15 thousand pounds, deducted at the rate of three hundred pounds per month, and the remaining period of service for the loan applicant must be three years when the announcement is published, subject to the following controls:
1. The period of the loan applicant must not be less than fifteen years of continuous actual service, in accordance with the regulating law.
2. The loan should not be combined with any other bank loan or Visa debit for purchases.
3. The loan application may not be renewed except after the previous loan, if any, has been repaid.
4. An acknowledgment of accepting the salary transfer to any branch of the Bank of Egypt.
