The Ministry of Emergency Situations told where you can have a picnic in the city and whether you can fry a barbecue on your balcony, reports ONT. In particular, you can cook barbecue in an apartment only in an air grill or oven, as well as appliances specially designed for this.
But making a fire in the barbecue on the balcony is a serious violation of fire safety rules. He faces a fine of up to 5 basic units (now – up to 185 rubles). If such a “picnic” causes a fire, the fine will be from 5 to 30 basic units (from 185 to 1110 rubles). If a person dies as a result of a fire, criminal liability is threatened.
As for the courtyard of a residential apartment building, it is not forbidden by law to kindle a barbecue in such places. But you need to follow some rules: you can not leave the fire unattended; the place for a fire must be cleared of combustible materials and dry vegetation and be at a sufficient distance from buildings and structures.
It is forbidden to kindle a flame on peat soils and under the crowns of trees. Also near the fire should be a 10-liter bucket of water or a fire extinguisher.
