The Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belaabed chaired a national conference devoted to the directives concerning the 2nd phase of the reintegration operation and the evaluation of preparations linked to the organization of the national championship of school sports, indicated Sunday a press release from the ministry.
As part of a series of conferences, held by videoconference, devoted to monitoring the start of the school year, Mr. Belaabed chaired, on Saturday, a national conference devoted to the directives relating to the 2nd phase of the reintegration operation, at the “evaluation of preparations for the organization of the national school sports championship, and monitoring of the management of concerns raised at the level of wilaya education directorates”, specified the press release.
The minister also affirmed that after publication of the results of the 1st phase of study of requests for reintegration of students who were unable to continue their school career, carried out at the level of educational establishments, “the management of the education will take care of the remaining requests in the 2nd phase, before putting in place additional measures to respond to other requests, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, issued during the Council of Ministers of September 22 2024.”
Concerning the preparations linked to the organization of the national school sports championship, which will begin January 2025, Mr. Belaabed followed a presentation on the work carried out by the committee in charge of this file, emphasizing “the need to take all the necessary measures to guarantee the success of this national event, which mainly aims to discover and promote the sporting elite.”
Furthermore, and “as part of the evaluation of the progress of the start of the school year during the first weeks, in particular with regard to the rapid handling of the different situations linked to the schooling of students, the minister listened to all the concerns raised in each wilaya and the manner of their treatment.
In this regard, he insisted on “the need to continue on the same momentum, to respond instantly and quickly to all concerns that could be raised, in accordance with the legislative and regulatory provisions in force, and to ensure the reception daily life of citizens until October 31, 2024”, concludes the press release.
