The continuity of education, without discriminating social class, gender or place of origin, is a commitment of the Government of the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, which was evidenced with the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Education and the Directorate of Integration .
Both entities signed a technical cooperation agreement for the execution of actions to promote social development with young middle school students in public sector educational centers, including their family groups, through which it is expected to encourage young people, provide them opportunities for improvement and executing integrative social, educational and cultural activities.
“We are going to redouble our efforts so that tomorrow these young people can continue their studies and get ahead, get out of this cycle of poverty,” said the ad honorem president of the Integration Directorate, Alejandro Gutman, about the scope of this agreement.
For his part, the interim Minister of Education, Mauricio Pineda, pointed out that this agreement completes the efforts of “My New School”, which seeks integration.
“We are with that clarity and inspiration. The government of the President of the Republic Nayib Bukele is inspired by the people and its main purpose is the people. It is a privilege to contribute to the development of the country. Thanks to the Integration Directorate for sharing this vision with which we will write step by step the new history of this rebirth of El Salvador,” added the interim minister.
This effort is part of phase 6 of the Territorial Control Plan, called “Integration”, through which the Government of El Salvador promotes a development model based on the integration of all sectors of the country, to open paths out of poverty. .
