/ world today news/ The new Greek Minister Yannis Varoufakis said that Athens will seek “maximum cooperation” with international creditors, but will not work with the so-called Troika
The troika are the country’s existing creditors – the European Central Bank, the European Union and the International Monetary Fund.
Yanis Varoufakis said his country was ready to cooperate, but not with a “committee built on a rotten foundation.”
The minister had a meeting with the chairman of the Eurogroup, Jeroen Dysselbloem, and next week he has visits to Great Britain, France and Italy. Pictured: Dysselbloem (left) and Varoufakis. /AFP
