Minister: School closures should no longer happen – Baden-Württemberg

Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Education, Theresa Schopper, definitely wants to avoid school closures like in the Corona lockdown in the future. Shortly before the end of the school year, she exchanged views with teachers, doctors and experts from the state health department. “Everyone involved in the consultations agreed: School closures have serious effects on children and young people, which is why they must no longer happen,” said the Greens politician on Monday in Stuttgart. “If there are no more serious changes, the general guideline is that the new school year will begin the way the old school year ended.”
