The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) reported this Saturday that its owner, Óscar Graham Yamahuchi, tested positive for COVID-19.
Added to this, they highlight that the minister is immunized with the three doses of the coronavirus vaccine and is stable.
Similarly, the MEF indicates that the official is following the relevant health protocols and medical indications; so he will work remotely in the next few days.

First case of ‘Centauro’ subvariant confirmed
The head of the Ministry of Health (ONCE), Jorge López Peña, announced on Wednesday, July 20, that the first case of the COVID-19 subvariant known as ‘Centauro’ was detected.
According to Minister López, the infected patient did not need to be hospitalized and remains under observation.
“The first case of BA2.7.5, a lineage of BA2, known as ‘Centauro’, has been detected. Currently this patient is stable, has no major variations, has not needed to be hospitalized. is under observation and we continue with the evaluation controls of the different molecular studies that we have”, specified the head of MINSA at a press conference of the Council of Ministers.
