In Reguengos de Monsaraz, the lack of human resources is a reason first pointed out by the government official: “The great difficulty was finding employees when many became ill”.

When asked if the “worst of the pandemic” has already passed in Portuguese homes, Ana Mendes Godinho states that “3% of the total households” and “0.5% of people hospitalized in homes (…) are affected by the disease”.
