At least three criminal complaints were drawn in the last hours in Commodore Py against the Minister of Security, Hannibal Fernandez. They accuse him of the crimes of public intimidation and instigation to commit crimes, for saying that if the right wins there will be “streets watered with blood”: one of the complainants is the lawyer of Gabriel Carrizoleader of the gang involved in the attempted assassination of Cristina Kirchner, Gaston Marano.
Through a two-sided presentation, Marano appeared “in the framework of my civic obligations” to report a possible crime. Later, he asked to investigate the Minister of Security for violation of article 211 of the Penal Code, which establishes prison terms of two to six years for public intimidation and incitement to collective violence.
Next, he acknowledged that freedom of expression has constitutional protection, but pointed out that “it is no less true that that does not enable impunity for certain said sanctioned by the regulations, in accordance with the inveterate jurisprudence of our Highest Court”. The lawyer maintained that he was unaware of the minister’s intention “by raising the ‘alarm voices'”, and pointed out the possibility that he had violated the National Electoral Code.

For Marano, that the minister has mentioned the consequence of the “streets watered with blood” In the event that the opposition wins, it implied a warning so that the voters vote in a certain way, a crime contemplated in article 239 of the norm mentioned above.
The presentation was raffled and settled in the Federal Court No. 9subrogated by the judge Maria Eugenia Capuchetti. It is the same one that investigates the case for the attempted assassination suffered in September 2022 by Vice President Cristina Kirchner, for which he is detained Gabriel Carrizohead of the “copitos” group, defended by the complainant Marano.
Marano is a lawyer linked to Together for Change who worked as an adviser to national senator Ignacio Torres, from that space, within the Bicameral Intelligence Commission.

In the ruling party, this was read as a move so that Commodore Py is left with a cause for the same issue that was processed in Santiago del Estero.
Two other complaints
But it is not the only complaint against Anibal Fernandez.
It happens that in the same building there was also a presentation signed, among others, by the opposing lawyer José Mangiocaldamember of the United Republicans party and legal head of the Apollo Foundation.
Like Marano, he denounced Fernández for the crime of public bullying. The presentation was raffled in the Federal Court No. 2, by Sebastián Ramos. Meanwhile, the lawyer Fernando Zarabozo, also aligned with the opposition, denounced him for instigation to commit crimes. He was left in charge of the federal judge Julian Ercolini.

In the event that they succeed, a conflict of jurisdiction is looming as a result of the similarity of the presentations. In this way, the Court that has the complaint that has been presented first will be the one that processes them.
The official denounced had stated that there are leaders who “say that they are going to blow up everything, they say that those who have to die will die.” After the controversy, he supported his statements this Friday in dialogue with the press upon arrival at Casa Rosada: “How do you dynamite without there being injuries or blood? How is it done so that those who have to die die?“, he raised.
“All the expressions that each of the representatives of the opposition express. So what I said is that if they became a government and that is what they will put into practice, that inexorably closes with repression“, he explained.
