Minister of Religion Ruby Cholil Qoumas officially dismissed the four Director Generals in the neighborhood Ministry of Religion RI.
The positions of the directors who were removed include Tri Handoko Seto who served as Director General of Hindu Community Development (BIMAs) and Director General of Community Guidance Buddha Caliadi. Then the Director General of Catholic Guidance, Yohanes Bayu Samodro, and the Director General of Christian Guidance Thomas Pentury were also dismissed.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Religion Nizar Ali stated that the four offices have been transferred to functional positions on December 6, 2021.
“The reason is for the sake of organization and refreshment. Rotation and mutation are commonplace in organizations for refreshment,” said Nizar to CNNIndonesia.com, Tuesday (21/12).
The vacant position of the fourth Director General of Guidance is now filled by the acting (Plt).
The Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of the Province of Bali will serve as Plt. Director General of Hindu Guidance. Expert Staff for Communication and Information Management as Acting Director General of Catholic Community Guidance.
Then, the Director of Christian Education as Plt. Director General of Christian Guidance, and Secretary of the Directorate General of Buddhist Community Guidance as Plt. Director General of Buddhist Guidance.
Nizar said the staffing officer has the authority to rotate with consideration of refreshment, not punishment.
He said that rotation and mutation efforts have become part of organizational life to increase institutional capacity and are a pattern for employee career development.
