A new contingent of Salvadorans left this morning for Canada to work safely, legally, with legal benefits and with well-paid positions, as part of the Labor Migration Program promoted by the Minister of Labor, Rolando Castro.
The official explained that the Labor Migration Program makes it possible to positively transform the lives of Salvadorans who gain an opportunity to travel to that North American country.
“We started offering job opportunities in the United States, then in Canada, and last year we managed to establish an agreement with the Costa Rican authorities. We hope that the program will also become effective in some European countries,” Castro added.
“Our goal is to allow families to fulfill their dreams without putting their lives at risk by crossing dangerous rivers and deserts, opting instead for a legal, safe and orderly path. “This program is led by our government and that guarantees that absolutely everything is free,” he added.
Along the same lines, he said that it was essential to remember the importance of not falling into scams, since unfortunately complaints have been received from people who have been victims of this type of fraud.
According to Rolando Castro, in this situation they are not going to sit idly by and we will take the necessary measures.
“We will continue to help those who need it most under the leadership of the government of President Nayib Bukele Ortez. “We are in a new era of the Ministry of Labor,” he pointed out.
