The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Marcel Boloș, announces new aid for Romanians: “500 million euros that would be transferred!”.
“As things have been clarified in the public space, the responsibility for this hole of 20 billion lei and its coverage is the Ministry of Finance. From this point of view, things are as clear as possible.
We are discussing the way in which we can also cover the hole that we have, the risk of losing money, as we call it, for the 7.5 billion euros that we have announced since the beginning of the year and for which we are looking for measures so that we can cover our European hole.

From this point of view, we also adopted last year a series of measures regarding the energy card, the food voucher, the grants for working capital that were granted in the spring of last year for companies, and at the end of this year, the European Commission approved the amendment to the regulation for what means grants for working capital at companies, compensation for the price of energy as well as for natural persons, those in a state of material deprivation and situations of vulnerability.
At this moment we are also analyzing this possibility in order to grant, further, in the energy transition fund, these measures for the population and for the business environment.
For the time being, compensatory measures worth approximately 500 million euros are being taken into account, which would be transferred to the energy transition fund after we have a discussion with the European Commission in advance”, explained Marcel Boloș on Antena 3 CNN.
