Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia charged performance allowance (tukin) to Minister of PAN-RB Abdullah Azwar Anas. Bahlil conveyed this at the 2023 Investment Service Award (ALI) in Jakarta.
According to Bahlil, the tukin for the Ministry of Investment/BKPM and the One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP) have not yet increased. Even though both of them contribute quite a lot to state tax revenues.
“But the PAN-RB Minister and the Ministry of Investment have not yet increased their tukin, the tukin should not be made slowly,” he said to Anas who was also present at the event in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/11/2023).
According to Bahlil, the Ministry of Finance can get maximum taxes if entrepreneurs come. Meanwhile, the largest 79% of total tax revenue comes from corporate taxes.
“Because the Ministry of Finance creates maximum taxes when entrepreneurs come. 79% of total state income comes from taxes, the largest being corporate taxes. The ones who take care of those who come, take care of them, look after them, are the Ministry of Investment and DPMPTSP,” he added.
Bahlil said that the Ministry of Finance was only responsible for collecting taxes. However, if no entrepreneurs come then there is nothing to quote.
“The Ministry of Finance is just quoting, if no one comes up with it, what do you want to quote? I think the Minister of PAN-RB really understands what I mean,” he said.
