The Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Bassam Mawlawi, issued a decision annulling the telegram issued by the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, linking the Information Division to Othman on an exceptional basis and for the necessities of service.
Armed with the law, Mawlawi found him writing to Othman asking him to retract his legal violation of the internal organization of the security forces and asking him to immediately retract his arbitrary decision, and request to immediately retract the measures taken and reconnect the information to the General Staff.
Because of Othman’s lack of action, Mawlawi issued the decision in which he canceled the telegram that was issued on June 27 due to his violation of the law, and the information is now in its normal place.
