jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Special Staff to the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) for Politics and Media Kastorius Sinaga said the Governor of Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) Ali Mazi had communicated with the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.

Kastorius said in the communication, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian explain the mechanism for determining the acting regent.

“The Minister of Home Affairs has explained the mechanism for the appointment of the Acting Regent and the governor has understood it well,” Kastorius told reporters JPNN.comMonday (23/5).

With this, Governor Ali Mazi is scheduled to inaugurate two acting regents, namely the Director of Regional Financial Planning of the Ministry of Home Affairs Bahri as Acting Regent of West Muna and Secretary of South Buton La Ode Budiman as Acting Regent of South Buton, Tuesday (24/5) tomorrow.

“Tomorrow, the Governor of Southeast Sulawesi will inaugurate two acting regents according to the appointment decree that has been received,” said Kastorius.

Today, Governor Ali Maz has appointed the Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Disaster Management Agency Muhammad Yusuf as the Acting Regent of Central Buton.

It was previously reported that Ali Mazi had canceled the inauguration of the two acting regents proposed by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

This is because the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government’s proposal regarding the names of the acting regents was ignored by the Ministry of Home Affairs. (mcr9/jpnn)
