In an interview with the LBCI channel, Abiad indicated that “one of the items on tomorrow’s cabinet agenda is the World Bank loan which needs a decree to be concluded, and we would use part of it to pay for hospitals “.
He said: “Claims that have not been seized will be withdrawn and we are at a major impasse with hospitals if a cabinet session is not held tomorrow.”
He added: “Foreign companies that have sent medicines to Lebanon for cancer treatment tell us that if you don’t pay, we can’t continue to send you medicines for free.”
And the Minister of Health continued: “We go down to deciding on the basic and health items, and then when we get to the items that they do not consider important, they withdraw and exceed the quorum, and I do not imagine that there is a problem with the related items to health needs.”
