The residents asked the Minister of Health to provide them with a gym. He immediately decided to provide and equip it.
The Minister had inspected Al-Hilal Health Insurance Hospital in Sohag. The Minister was reassured about the health condition of patients in the hospital’s various departments and listened to a detailed explanation of the hospital’s departments and the services they provide to citizens.
The visit of the Minister of Health to Sohag comes; To inspect a number of Ministry of Health hospitals within the governorate, to follow up on the progress of work in those hospitals, the level of services provided to citizens, and to determine the implementation rates of ongoing projects, within the framework of the state’s interest in developing the medical sector in Sohag Governorate.
The minister and his accompanying delegation inspected Juhayna Central Hospital, Tahta General Hospital, and Maragha Central Hospital under construction. The presidential initiative, A Decent Life, was launched by President Sisi.
For his part, Major General Tariq El-Feki, Governor of Sohag, welcomed the Minister of Health to Sohag, praising the achievements achieved on the ground in the health sector, including developing hospitals and establishing new ones, in addition to family medicine units and medical centers that were established within the presidential initiative “Hayat”. Karima”, as well as providing hospitals with the latest medical devices.
The Minister will continue his tour by inspecting a mental health hospital, Sohag General Hospital, the Heart and Digestive Center, Sohag Educational Center, and the Oncology Center.
The Minister of Health and Population concludes his visit to Sohag Governorate by holding a meeting with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the governorate’s general office, to discuss a number of issues and topics of concern to the Sohag citizen in the health sector.
