This came during a meeting held by the Minister of Health and Population and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, this morning, Saturday, via video conference technology, with the heads of delegations participating in the World Handball Championship in the presence of Dr. Hassan Mustafa, President of the International Handball Federation, and Dr. Alaa Eid, the supervisor of The Medical Committee of the Ministry of Health for the World Handball Championship, and Hussein Labib, director of the 27th edition of the World Handball Championship, to follow up on the latest developments in the medical insurance plan for the World Handball Championship, which Egypt will host from January 13 to 31.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the Medical Committee for the World Handball Championship, said that the Minister of Health discussed with the heads of delegations all developments in the medical insurance plan, which is constantly reviewed in coordination with the Minister of Youth and Sports and the International Handball Federation, referring to A mechanism for conducting a “pcr” analysis of the emerging corona virus has been approved every 24 hours for all teams participating in the tournament, members of federations and organizing committees, hotel workers and medical teams, in the context of stressing precautionary measures and paying attention to the public health of Egypt’s guests.
