Minister of Health: The cost of the “Sakina” project for mental health is 6 billion pounds

Abdel Ghaffar said, “Work has begun in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education to seek the assistance of experts in the treatment of addiction and mental health, in conjunction with the expansion of mental health hospitals to develop or establish new hospitals. “

The Minister of Health highlighted the launch of several presidential initiatives in the field of mental health, the expansion of the establishment of mental health facilities, the implementation of the project to establish the “Sakina” Hospital for mental health and addiction treatment in a city New Alamein, and the rapid completion of the development of the Khanka Hospital for Mental Health in Qalyubia Governorate, on an area of ​​76 acres at a cost of 6 billion pounds.
