In the same interview in “The seventh day”, Vandenbroucke once again emphasizes the importance of ventilation in the fight against the corona virus. “The most important decision of the last consultation committee is that we put an end to the non-commitment regarding ventilation,” said the minister. “We are going to make good air quality mandatory everywhere. In restaurants and cafes, in fitness centers and the entire private and public sports infrastructure, in discotheques, in party halls… That means using ventilation or technologies to kill the virus. We are going to allow a transition period, but this becomes an obligation.”
