Minister of Education signs agreement to disseminate vocational choice book in Chubut schools.

Minister José María Grazzini received the relatives of the author María Belén Miguel in his office. The book is already available for free download on the Chubut Educa portal.

This Wednesday the Minister of Education of the province, José María Grazzini, received relatives of the writer and graduate in Psychology, María Belén Miguel.

The objective of the meeting was the signing of an agreement for the book “Crossroads” to be disseminated in Chubut schools.

Present at the meeting were the mother of María Belén, María Inés Ramírez; the author’s husband, Andrés Pieruccioni; and her children, Alfonso and Francesca.

Through the agreement, the Ministry will be in charge of disseminating the book intended for the vocational choice of students who are about to finish high school. In addition, during the meeting, a plaque was delivered in recognition of the educational portfolio for the contribution of María Belén Miguel to education in Chubut.

Crossroads and its author

The book is titled “Crossroads. Ideas that accompany your vocational choice”. It is intended for secondary level students who are about to finish their compulsory schooling.

It is not only designed to be read by students who are about to finish high school; but it also helps parents and/or guardians to accompany him in his vocational choice.

María Belén Miguel graduated in Psychology from the UCA. During her career, she focused mainly on Health related issues; emphasizing Vocational Guidance.

She was the director and founder of Aletheia, Vocational Guidance Center in the city of Trelew. Throughout her career, she has given talks, training sessions, and various exhibitions on this subject, and her book was found in many commercial bookstores in the province.

After the death of María Belén, the family decided to donate the educational material so that it can be used by all Chubut students.
